Findings on the drawing.
Each finding is marked on the sheet itself, where the engineer is already looking. An exported report was built first and set aside: a deliverable that is not where people work is not delivered.

Case study · Our own product
AI-assisted drawing review for licensed engineers, designed, built, and operated by Tradewind.
Redline is our product, not client work. We show it here because it is our approach under real conditions: a specialist field, a professional who carries the responsibility, and software that has to earn their trust.
Visit RedlineThe situation
Before a drawing set goes out, an engineer reviews it sheet by sheet for coordination issues, missing information, and code questions. The work is detailed and repetitive, and the engineer remains responsible for what is issued.
General AI tools give confident answers with no way to check them. In a field where the engineer carries the responsibility, an answer you cannot verify is not useful.
The design principle
Every design decision followed from one rule: make the review faster to inspect, and never take the judgment away from the person who is responsible for it.
What we built.
Each finding is marked on the sheet itself, where the engineer is already looking. An exported report was built first and set aside: a deliverable that is not where people work is not delivered.
Every finding quotes the text it came from on the drawing, so the engineer can confirm it in seconds instead of taking it on trust.
Each review states which pages were read. A page that could not be reviewed is shown as a gap, never passed over in silence.
Findings arrive as proposals with their reasoning and a confidence rating. Nothing reaches the final set unless the engineer accepts it.
What it taught us.
The most useful version of a feature is the one inside the screen people already use, not a file they have to go and open.
Trust came from evidence on the page, not from accuracy claims. People adopt what they can check.
Quality was tracked against real drawing sets before and after each change, so improvements were measured, not assumed.
Redline has been commercially available since August 2026. Customer-specific results will be published only with written permission.
